Back then, when I transitioned from sales to marketing, among many things, jargon bothered me the most. Yeah, they comfortably top the spot. I kept searching for meaning. To be precise, ‘intuitive understanding’ is what I uttered. Repeatedly. Desperately. And, if I am being honest, borderline annoyingly 😅 Maybe that was euphemism for ‘Explain to me like I'm 10’. I don’t know. But I think that was the case. And the TV media felt like this jargon-loaded complex maze. TRPs. GRPs. Spillover. CPRP….and the list is endless. I haven’t figured it all out yet. Far, far from it, but I have moved a few inches. And in the process, I developed my style of ‘physically’ understanding the meaning and developing intuition around them. So, I thought, what’s the harm in sharing some of that nobody-asked-for-it gyaan?
